Robert Sheff, Jr. was born March 1, 1941 to Selena and Robert Sheff, Sr. in Winston-Salem, NC.

In his spare time he loved listening to music, talking on his CD Radio, fishing, and working on cars. In the early morning hours of April 30, 2016 at the age of 75, Robert received his wings surrounded by his family at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter, Carolyn Denise Sheff formerly of Richmond, VA; three brothers, Herald, Timothy, and Edward Sheff; and his sister, Marion Oaks all formerly of W-S, NC.

Survivors include his wife, Faye Sheff of W-S, NC; three sons, Robert (Tammy) Sheff, III of W-S, NC, Terry (Marinda) Sheff of Nottingham, MD, and Timothy Sheff, Sr. of Lawton, OK; one daughter, Ashley Sheff of W-S, NC; four grandchildren, Timothy Sheff, Jr., Chterra Sheff, Julia Sheff, and Ashanti Bailey; six great-grandchildren; ten siblings, Lillie (John) Farabee, Richard (Geraldine) Sheff, Larry (Cassandra) Shelf, Mary McIlwain, Dewanda Sheff, Chester (Donna) Shelf, Lester (Sandra) Sheff, Paul (Catherine) Sheff, Gladys Sheff, and Glenda Miller of W-S, NC; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and loving friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Friday May 6, 2016 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Harvey Smallwood officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 12:30pm until 1:00pm on Friday at the Chapel.
