In the Presence of God forevermore! That's where Tyrone went on New Year's Day.
Mr. Robert Tyrone Scippio was born on January 4, 1948 to Johnny and Gertrude Scippio. He grew up on Temple Street in the historic Reynolds Town. Skyland Elementary School and Atkins High School is where he received his formal education.
Remembering him with much love are his four children, Carol Taylor of Forestville, MD; Robert Scippio, Jr. (Betty) of Washington, D.C., Phillip Scippio of Fredericksburg, VA and Vangela Gilmore of Arlington, VA; five siblings, Johnny Jr. (Virgina) and Annette of Winston-Salem, William (Novis) and Rondy (Rita)of Stockton, CA, and Kent of Newport News, VA,; a aunt and uncle, Daisy and Robert Durrah,13 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren, 12 nieces and nephews, and host of other relatives and friends.
Memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2008 at 3:00 pm at Emmanuel Baptist Church.
