Mr. Robert Ellis Moorman II, affectionately known as "Fat Boi," was born in Winston-Salem, NC on December 8, 1978 to the union of the late Robert Ellis Moorman and Theresa Bankston Moorman. He died unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 9, 2009 in Detroit, MI. Robert graduated from Highland Park Community High School in 1997. While in school he was very active in the Boys and Girls Club of Highland Park where he enjoyed cup stacking competitions for over 10 years. His love for cooking led to his study at Dorsey School of Culinary Arts in Roseville, MI. He was employed as a cook at Boston Sports Bar & Grill in Chesterfield, MI. He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Theresa Moorman Webb of Detroit, MI; his companion, Shauntel Burton; stepson, Trevor Huntley; two brothers; Schirriah M. Poole of Fayetteville, NC and Richard A. Poole of Youngstown, OH; a sister, Monica Coleman of Fort Bragg, NC; his father' s family: Bonnie Moorman, Rahsaan Moorman, Ayanna Moorman, Maya Moorman-Davis, Arianna Davis, and Joshua Davis, all of Winston-Salem, NC; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Graveside Services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at Evergreen Cemetery, 2124 New Walkertown Rd., W-S, NC with the Rev. Dr. Kendall Jones officiating.
