Mr. Robert Lee Lemon, Jr., affectionately known to family and friends as "TIPPY" of 1150 Lowvalley Court, Rural Hall, NC passed away on Tuesday, April 10, 2007 at the Wake Forest University/Baptist Medical Center. He was born on August 5, 1939 in Winston-Salem, NC, the son of Joanah Bennett Lemon and Robert Lee Lemon, Sr. Mr. Lemon worked for the Safe Bus Company of Winston-Salem, NC, R. J. Reynolds Tobacco Company and the City of Winston-Salem Recreation Department.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, George Lemon of Brooklyn, NC.

He is survived by his wife, Ruby Odessa Young Lemon; one devoted daughter, Shannon Lemon (Mack) Barnes; three sons, Calvin Bernard Young aka DJ, "LEMON LYME", Cleo Robert Young and Cedrick Bobby Lemon; eleven grandchildren, two of the home, Shammarie Lemon and Jo'Quan Lemon; four great grandchildren; one sister, Sara Lemon; two brothers, John Lemon of Baltimore, MD, Alexander "AL" Lemon of Winston-Salem, NC; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many, many friends.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 14, 2007 at 1:00 PM from the Chapel of the Russell Funeral Home with Bishop Joseph Lowery officiating. Interment will follow in the Piedmont Memorial Gardens. The family visitation will be from 12:30 until 1:00 PM on Saturday at the funeral home.
