Mr. Robert Lee Jones, 47, departed this life early on Saturday, March 6, 2010 at WFU/ Baptist Medical Center following a short period of illness.
Mr. Jones was born August 7, 1962 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Roy Jones & Mrs. Gussie Jones.
He graduated from Philadelphia High School, and served in the US Navy for 6 years. He was also employed at NCBH for 22 years.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 27 years, Mrs. Donna Jones; one loving daughter, Aeysha Jones; three grandchildren, Antonio, Ajiana and Cameron all of the city; his mother, Mrs. Gussie Jones of Philadelphia, PA; his brother, Mr. Roy Jones of the city; two sisters, Ms. Jacqueline Jones of Philadelphia, PA and Ms. Yvonne Jones of the city; his mother-in-law, Ms. Juanita Webster of FL; his brothers-in-law, Mr. Gary (Yolanda) Holloway of VA, Mr. Terry Holloway of OH, Mr. Kyle Holloway of PA, and Mr. Kelton Wayns of FL; and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 12Noon Friday, March 12, 2010 from the Russell Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Calvin Runnells officiating. Interment will follow in Salisbury National Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 11:30am until 12Noon on Friday at the chapel.
