Mr. Robert Leander Davis (affectionately known as "Bob" or "Rock") of 2004 Orvid Street, Charleston, SC was born to the late Louvenia Ingram and Harry Scales on October 2, 1950. He departed this life on Monday, May 25, 2009 at the Medical University of South Carolina.
Mr. Davis was employed by the Gale Triangle, Inc of Santa Fe Springs, CA. He was reared in Winston-Salem, NC and received his education in the Forsyth County School system and was a veteran of the US Navy.
He leaves to cherish his memory; two daughters, Rosalyn Jones and Lisa Brown; one son Juan Brown; one god daughter Desiree Richardson; one brother John Clowers; a special cousin Debra Jeter, one nephew and four grandchildren all of the city, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, June 5, 2009 from the Russell Funeral Home Chapel with Bishop Todd Fulton officiating. Interment will follow in Salisbury National Cemetery, Salisbury, NC. The family visitation will be held from 10:30 AM until 11:00 AM on Friday at the chapel.
