Robert "Bobby" Lee Conner was born January 25, 1928 in Winston-Salem, NC to William Allen and Katherine Conner. After a brief illness, Bobby was called home on November 3, 2024.

Bobby is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Rue Conner of Winston-Salem, NC; two sons, Tony V. Conner of North Wilkesboro, NC and Barry O. Conner of Walkertown, NC; two daughters, Beverly Ricks of New York City, NY and Pam Penn of Winston-Salem, NC; and three grandchildren, Dominique, Morgan, and Logan. Two beautiful children preceded him in death, Christopher Conner and Gary Conner.

Bobby joined the US Army after high school and worked in construction for a short time but found his passion working with special education children as an educator in the Forsyth County School System for 35 years.

Bobby loved and enjoyed life and will be missed by a multitude of his nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00pm Friday, November 8, 2024 at United Metropolitan Missionary Baptist Church.
