Robert Lee Anderson would like to let you know his work here finished. Robert's last prayer was to be free of his pain and go home to be with his Savior. Needless to say the Lord did not refuse and raised Robert to be by his side in the early morning of December 11, 2018. The offer came with many bonuses which include a reunion with family and friends, and a home in a beautiful place of infinite peace.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie Hale Anderson and Robert L. Anderson, Sr.; and his brother, Henry Anderson.

Those left behind to remember him are his wife, Kathy W. Anderson; sons, Rahmiano S. Anderson, Randy L. Cooper, and Rory L. Cooper; sister, Jamilah Allah (Rauf); brother, James E. Anderson; mother-in-law, Eloise B. Wall; godchild, Christal Jones; and many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Now it is our job to celebrate Robert's safe journey since his earthly mission is done. We must remember his smile, warm-heartedness, and love for life. He will not be returning to laugh, play, and pray but we will gain strength in the knowledge that he has not left us. We will see him in the fruits of his labors, the trees he planted, the smiles he created, and the sweet memories he left for all of us. His hard work will speak for itself. He would not want us to cry, but to remember that he is reaping the rewards of a life well-lived. His faith never wavered during his illness, and that is his gift to all of us. We know that he has found peace, and he will be waiting to greet us with the warmth of his smile.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00noon Friday, December 14, 2018 at Rising Ebenezer Baptist Church with Rev. William Brown officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 11:30am until 12:00noon on Friday at the Church.
