Obituary
Mr. Robert Lee Acker, 61 was born October 14, 1952 in Winston-Salem, NC to Ezell Acker and Virginia Jones Acker. He departed this earthly life on August 12, 2014 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home.
Robert attended the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools and was a self-employed mechanic.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Ezell Ackers, Jr.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Valerie Friday; two sisters, Crissie Cunningham and Franciney Coleman; two brothers, Richard (Allison) Acker and Billy Ray (Yvonne Evans) Acker; one aunt, Christine Moses; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.
Memorial services will be held at 11am Saturday, August 16, 2014 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Artis Smith officiating.
