Mrs. Robbie DeLapp, 77 passed away July 7, 2009 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born August 29, 1931 in Winston-Salem, NC to Jasper Frank and Lubertha M. Kinzer. Mrs. DeLapp was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Clandon DeLapp.
Left to cherish her memories are one daughter, Treva Anthony; one God-daughter whom she raised, Tramona Crawford; one brother, James Alvin Kinzer; three sisters, Doris Harris, Ernestine Dillard, and Mildred Tuttle; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1pm Saturday, July 11, 2009 from the Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Reverend Dr. Serenus T. Churn, Sr. officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 12:30pm until 1pm on Saturday at the Church.
The family wishes to extend special thanks to Nurse Nakia Perry and the Chaplains and Nursing staff at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home for the care given to Mrs. DeLapp.
