Mr. Roachell Blair, Jr., affectionately known to his family and friends as "Nank", was called to our Heavenly Father on Tuesday, April 2, 2014.  He was born June 25, 1940 in Kershaw, SC, to the late Roachell Blair, Sr. and Winnie Blair.  Mr. Blair was a member of Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist a Church.

He was a native of Winston-Salem, NC, but lived in New York for over 30 years, before returning home.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his three sisters, Elouise B. Brown, Lottie M. Blair, and Berlene B. Evans; and five brothers, Carl, Neal, Leo, Rufus, and Curtis Blair.

He will truly be missed by a special great-niece, Angela Callando(Bart), who was so devoted to him, he loved her like a daughter; a special friend and Goddaughter, Tina Henley; also to mourn his loss are nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1pm Friday, April 11, 2014 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Paul Hart officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 12:30pm until 1pm on Friday at the Chapel.
