Ricky Davis, Jr. was born on August 5, 1993 to Ilyse Turner and Ricky Davis, Sr. in Winston-Salem, NC.  He departed his life on July 19, 2023.

He attended the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools. He loved sports and played football, basketball, and baseball.  Most of all he loved dogs.  He enjoyed music and the blues, and tennis shoes like crazy. Ricky had no kids of his own, but he loved keeping his nephews and nieces. Ricky loved his family and his family loved him. He and his sisters were very close.  They joked and played more than anything together.

Ricky was preceded in death by his grandparents.

He leaves behind to cherish his memories his mother, Ilyse (Tyrone Skeen) Turner; his father, Ricky Davis, Sr.; siblings, Ashley Davis, Ricketa Davis, Ricshada Davis, Tressia Davis, Brynmarie Banks, Rondey Davis, and Tyvian Conrad; bonus siblings, Jareka Roberts, Nykia Roberts, Javen Davis, Montray Fisher, and Shaquille Davis; uncles and aunts, Michael, James, Emmanuel, Timothy, and Tonya Davis, Martin (Shanita) Bailey, Coleman Watkins, and a host of other uncles and aunts; nephews, John, Torrez, Jahari, Daddy'O, and a host of other nephews; nieces, Ileyha, Naleyha, Ahzaria, Zenobia, and a host of other nieces; and a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends.

THERE WILL BE NO PUBLIC VIEWING FRIDAY, AUGUST 4, 2023.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Saturday, August 5, 2023 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Justin Cobbs officiating. The family visitation and public viewing will be held from 12:30pm until 1:00pm on Saturday at the Chapel.
