Reverend Ralph White, Jr. 46 of 3525 Castleford Court Apt.-C departed this life Friday, August 28, 2009. He was born October 20, 1962 in El Paso, TX to Ralph White, Sr. and Bettie Saleem. He moved to Winston-Salem, NC in 1976. He graduated from West Forsyth High School, received his BS in Accounting from High Point University, the M Div from Wake Forest University, and was enrolled in the MBA program at Winston-Salem State University when he departed this life. Reverend White was formerly employed by Pepsi Cola Bottling Company of Winston-Salem as an accounts receivable manager. He was also employed by IKON Office Solutions, Greensboro, NC and by Mercedes Benz of Winston-Salem, Inc. as an accounting manager. At the time of his demise, he was founding partner and CEO of Archangel Accountancy and Executive Management Consultants.
As an ordained minister, he served at the Piney Grove Baptist Church a number of years as a trustee, audio technician, youth and associate minister. He also served in Claudville, VA as pastor of the Family of God Church. Most recently, he worshipped with the Mount Sinai Full Gospel Deliverance Center where he shared in the preaching and teaching ministries.
He leaves enriched by his presence and to cherish his memory, his high school sweetheart and wife of 26 years, Karen Patrice White; two daughters, Marquita Jazmine and Jacquelyn Patrice; a son, Ralph White, III, his parents, Ralph White, Sr. and Bettie Saleem; two brothers, Michael (Lolita) Saleem and Anthony (Angela) White; two sisters, Andrea Hymes and Angela (Ernest) Mallory; his mother and father-in-law, Brenda and Sylviski Brown; a father-in-law, Larry Cunningham; five sisters-in-law, Le'Shawn (Craig, Sr.) Amos, Melissa Moten, Tammy, Kimberly, and Larria Cunningham; two brothers-in-law, Daryle Simmons and Charles (Penny) Simmons; and a host of other relatives and friends.
The service of celebration will be conducted at 2pm Friday, September 4, 2009 from the Mount Sinai Full Gospel Deliverance Center with Reverend Yvonne H. Hines officiating and Reverend James Linville, eulogist. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 1:30pm until 2pm on Friday at the Church.
