Mr. Reginald L. Moore of 3424 Country Club Road passed away on Sunday, April 10, 2011 at Wake Forest Baptist Health.
Reginald was a 1970 graduate of Atkins High School. He was employed by the United States Postal Service for 33 years up until his retirement in 2003. He was also a veteran of the United States Army.
He was a loving and dedicated husband, son, father, and grandfather.
He is survived by his wife, Viola P. Moore; his mother, Ida Mae Phifer; one brother, Willie Moore; two daughters, Kenya Moore and Toyoka (Dacien) Davis; a stepdaughter and stepson, Tara and Paris Jackson; five grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11am Friday, April 15, 2011 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Michelle Stevens officiating. Interment will follow in Salisbury National Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 10am until 11am on Friday at the Chapel.
