Mr. Reginald Cornell Lynch was born on June 9, 1948 in Forsyth County to Edith and Fredrick Lynch. He was called home on October 11, 2007.
Mr. Lynch was a graduate of Paisley High School and attended college at Winston-Salem State University where he received a bachelors degree in science.
He was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church of Winston-Salem and was formerly employed by Addiction Recovery Care Association where he was a substance abuse counselor.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Ronald Lucas.
Left to cherish the precious memories of his life are his devoted wife and best friend, Margaret Lynch; six children, Veronica (Reginald) Broadnax, Mariea Spencer, Regina Boyd, Ritchie Smith, Kara Mack, Clayton Mack, and Napoleon (Marion) Gainey; one special auntie "Momma" Margaret Chatman; one brother, Dennis Chatman; four sisters, Constance (Clifton) Hillian, Denise (Neil) Batchelor, Daphne Singh and Debbie Floyd; a special friend, Robert Fuller; one very special granddaughter, Briana Scott; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm Tuesday, October 16, 2007 from the Mount Zion Baptist Church with Reverend Kacie Moore, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 1:30pm until 2pm on Tuesday at the Church.
