Reginald Tyrone Fielder, 64, was born September 1, 1956 in Winston-Salem, NC. He departed this life February 2, 2021. He graduated from Parkland High School where he excelled in basketball. Tyrone was blessed with a full basketball scholarship. To further his education, he chose Lees McRae College in Banner Elk, NC. Tyrone loved playing the game of basketball in college, while ultimately earing his associate degree. He loved the Lord, family, basketball, and idolized the basketball greats: "Dr. J" and Kareem Abdul Jabbar.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Fielder; father, Jerome Fielder, Sr.; and sisters, Charlene Fielder Westbrook and Sandra Smith.
He leaves to cherish his memories his beloved brother and sisters, Jerome Fielder, Jr., Shelia Fielder (Michael) Wilson, Valeria Fielder Gambrell, Rhonda Fielder Underwood, and Twyla Fielder; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends; and the caring staff and residents at Creekside Manor in Kernersville, NC.
A viewing will be held from 1:00pm until 5:00pm Friday, February 5, 2021 at Russell Funeral Home. Private graveside services will be held at 11:00am Saturday, February 6, 2021 in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.
