Mr. Reginald Eugene Cloud, affectionally known as "Red", departed this life peacefully on Sunday, September 8, 2024 at the age of 70, in Winston-Salem NC.  He was born to the late James Nebraska Cloud, Sr. And Elsie Mae Davis Cloud, on June 8, 1954.  He attended the local public schools and grew up in Happy Hill Gardens.  Red was very well known throughout the HHG Community for his smile and funny and humorous demeanor and will forever be known as an "HHG OG" and "HHG Legend"....

Red was preceded in death by his parents, James N. Cloud, Sr. and Elsie M. Cloud; 6 brothers, Otis Murphy, Sr., James Nebraska Cloud, Jr., Haywood Cloud, Sr., Norman, Melvin, and Marvin Brunt; 1 sister, Brenda Cloud; and 1 brother-in-law, Bruce Franklin Carson.

Red leaves to cherish many beautiful memories 3 children, Holley Farley, Fadil Long, and Reginald Wilson, Sr.; 6 grandchildren, Derrick and Deshia Dendy, Latifah Long, Paton Patterson, Marianna and Reginald Wilson, Jr.; 1 great-granddaughter, Ja'Nel Long; 6 brothers, Robert (Maxine) Davis, Larry (Sandra) Cloud, Gregory Cloud, Percy Cloud, Roland Cloud, and Raymond Cloud; 2 sisters, Cynthia Cloud and Jacqueline Cloud Carson; 1 aunt, Mabel Evans; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

A viewing will be held from 1:00pm until 5:00pm Thursday, September 12, 2024 at Russell Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 12noon Friday, September 13, 2024 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel. The family visitation will be held from 11:30am until 12noon on Friday at the Chapel.
