Obituary

Elder Raymond L. Patrick, Sr. was born to Herman G. Patrick and Emmaline Byrd on February 25, 1952. He entered into eternal rest on January 5, 2022.

Elder Patrick was a US Navy and Army National Guard Veteran.  He was employed by Daimler Freightliner, Bud Services, a part-time activity bus driver for Winston-Salem State and on a coaching team for Little League football. He attended Atkins High School and graduated from Forsyth Technical Community College (formerly Forsyth Technical Institute).

Elder Patrick was preceded in death by his parents; his sisters, Faye Patrick Lowery and Mae Patrick Reaves; and a brother, Willie Patrick.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loyal and devoted wife of 35 years, Beatrice Jeffreys Patrick; sons; Minister Raymond L. (Mandy) Patrick, Jr., George (Tiffany) Patrick and Emanuel Jeffreys;  grandchildren, Stefon Moore, Raymond L. Patrick, III, Raymie and Noah Patrick, Justin Smith, Javaris, Kai, and Eddison Jeffreys; great grandson, Cain Jeffreys; loving siblings, Shirley Patrick (caregiver), Louise (Pastor Darrell) Sturdivant, Carl (Alfreda) Patrick and James Patrick; oldest living aunts, Jessie Totten and Vernie Patrick; devoted cousins, Deacon Clyde (Nettie) Guy; and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews. Elder Patrick put his Faith and Trust in God, he loved his family dearly.

ELDER PATRICK WAS LOVED AND WILL TRULY BE MISSED!

A viewing will be held from 1:00pm until 5:00pm Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at Russell Funeral Home.

Private funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 19, 2022.

Interment will be held at 10:00am Thursday, January 20, 2022 in Salisbury National Cemetery, Salisbury, NC.
