Deacon Randall Curtis Foman was born in Washington, DC on August 26, 1948 to the late Paul M. Foman and Helen K. Foman. He was a 1966 graduate of McKinley High School. In 2018 he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Ministry from Carolina Christian College here in Winston-Salem, and was working on his Master's degree.
He was a resident of Winston-Salem for 26 years where he had his own T-shirt business and was a strong advocate for civil rights and equality, along with a desire to start a black history museum here in the city. He was well known in the community and was associated with the Lunch Bunch of Winston- Salem.
Deacon Foman was a faithful member of Love Acceptance & Forgiveness Ministry for 7 years, where he served as Deacon, Head Usher, Pastor's Aide, and Custodian.
In addition to his father and mother, Deacon Foman was preceded in death by both of his brothers, Michael R. Foman and Bennett P. Foman; and a daughter, Ieshia Foman.
He is survived by his sister Paullette T. Everett. He also leaves to cherish his memory, a close cousin, Bernard Kellam; a long-time friend, Butch McCollum; and a cherished friend, Ethel Hines; along with a host of other relatives, friends and loved ones.
Memorial services will be held at 1:00pm Saturday, March 2, 2024 at Love Acceptance & Forgiveness Ministry with Dr. Kirt Gonzalez officiating and Pastor Vicky Hines eulogist.
