Mr. Ralph Samuel, 77, was born February 20, 1949 in Timmonsville, SC to Arthur Samuel and Carrie Hicks Samuel. He departed this earthly life on July 21, 2026 at his residence in Winston-Salem, NC.

Ralph was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and recalled his time spent in the military with pride, honor, and an unwavering amount of dedication. After his discharge he worked as a self-employed electrician.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his children; and a host of other relatives.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife of over three decades, Angela Jenkins Samuel; sister-in-law, Thelma Moore; his nephews that he considered his “sons”, Lynell Jenkins, Jero Jenkins, and Corneilus Jenkins; his granddaughter, Shona; and a host of other relatives and dear friends who will miss him.

Funeral services will be held at 12noon Monday, July 27, 2026 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel. The family visitation will be held from 11:30am until 12noon on Monday at the Chapel.
