Raheem Dijon "Roc" Dunlap, 30, of Ivy Ave. W-S, NC departed this earthly life unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 3, 2022.  He was born on Thursday, October 31, 1991 to Mary Vinson and Caswell Lindsay in Winston-Salem, NC.

Raheem, affectionately known as "ROC", received his education from the local public schools. Raheem was a loving and kindhearted father, son, brother, cousin, and a great friend.  Raheem loved his children dearly; it was his desire to go above and beyond to make sure every moment they spent together was special and memorable.  He was always smiling, the life of family parties, and a hard worker who was employed as a cook with a local restaurant.

Raheem was preceded in death by his grandmother, Barbara Stephenson; and uncle, Isaiah Brooks.

Raheem will be lovingly remembered by both of his parents; his children, Raheem Dijon Dunlap, Jr., Ishan Dunlap, Irie Dunlap, Rian'Dior Dunlap, Ramaya Dunlap, and Ray'ell Dunlap; siblings, Ronald (Tia) Vinson, Jerry (Shakera) Vinson, LaVonte Vinson, Wateria Vinson, Teriana Edwards, Tarajahai Chandler, and Monte Henley; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

You are truly loved, and will be deeply missed.

A viewing will be held from 1:00pm until 5:00pm Thursday, August 18, 2022 at Russell Funeral Home.

Private services will be held Friday, August 19, 2022.
