Mrs. Priscilla L. Kinard, the wife of the late James Henry Kinard, Jr., departed this life at home on April 12, 2019

Priscilla was born in Sumter, South Carolina on November 5, 1949.  She graduated from Paisley High School in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.  She also was also a graduate of Sumter Technical College and received her degree in Machine Tools.  She was a caregiver for many over the years.

Priscilla was preceded in death by her husband, James Henry Kinard, Jr.; two brothers, Alfred Shaw and Marvin Shaw, Jr.; and her mother, Geneva S. Tyler.

She leaves behind one daughter, Geneva Renita' Tindal; one brother, Gregory Shaw; one sister-in-law, Diane Shaw; one foster sister, Mae Sheryl Burner; two grandsons, Timothy Hambrick & Andre' Tindal (Sade); two great-granddaughters, A'Nyah Tindal & Aariya Tindal; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, church family, and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00noon Saturday, April 20, 2019 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 11:00am until 12:00noon on Saturday at the Chapel.
