Obituary
Dr. Prince Rivers, 74, died Saturday, March 20, 2010. A native of Savannah, GA, Dr. Rivers retired as Provost of the Atlanta University Center and previously served as a chemistry professor at Fisk University.
He is mourned by his four children, including Rev. Prince Raney Rivers.
Memorial services and a family visitation will be held at Noon Friday, March 26, 2010 at United Metropolitan Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend D. A. Bland officiating.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Endowment Scholarship Fund at United Metropolitan Church, 450 Metropolitan Drive, Winston-Salem, NC 27101.
