Pollyann Sabrina Finney was born in Winston-Salem, NC on Sunday June 27, 1971.

She was preceded in death by her Father, Robert Finney; and Mother, Loretta 'Sis' Taylor Finney; and sisters, Shirley Taylor and Mary Louise Kennedy.

A native of the area, graduating from Carver High School in 1989 and earning degrees in Nursing and Geriatric Care from Forsyth Technical Community College and Salem College.

Ms. Finney departed this life and entered eternal life on Monday March 8, 2021.

Pollyann was the light of any room. Leaving behind memories of laughter and good times covered in love. She will be remembered for her kind and gentle spirit that made her so easy to talk to. Her fearless reaction to any situation, and most importantly her genuine love of family.

She leaves her legacy of strength, purpose, and love to be cherished by: 3 Beautiful Daughters, Latoyea Finney; Sabrinna Finney; Johniquea Ingram all of Winston-Salem, NC; 6 Grandchildren whom she loved dearly, Alyjah Finney; Alyah Finney; Rashawn Wilborn Jr; Jordan Robinson; Jason Robinson II; A 'Lyrica Finney; 2 Future Sons-in-Law Jason Robinson of Rock Hill, SC and Rashawn Wilborn of Winston-Salem, NC; sister, Roslyn (John) Taylor of Winston-Salem, NC; brothers, James (Jackie) Kennedy of San, Antonio, TX, William Kennedy of Elon, NC, Robert Finney of Winston- Salem, NC and Anthony Finney of Winston-Salem, NC; aunts, Shirley (Wallace) Gaither of Winston-Salem, NC and Selma Long of Winston-Salem, NC; uncle: Dayton Finney of Winston-Salem, NC; she shared special bonds with Cedric Miller of Winston-Salem, NC, Alaric (Anne) Robinson of Jacksonville, NC, John (Shica) Ingram Sr. of Winston-Salem, NC; and Shalita Pate of Winston-Salem, NC; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great-great nieces, great-great nephews, cousins, and very special friends.

A viewing will be held from 1:00pm until 6:00pm Friday, March 19, 2021 at Russell Funeral Home.

Private funeral services will be held Saturday, March 20, 2021.
