Pearlie Mae Wilson Scott was the daughter of the late Waymon Wilson Sr. and Mary Griffen Wilson. She was born on February 5, 1943. She sadly passed away on September 5, 2022, at the age of 79.Pearlie Mae Scott attended the public schools of Williamsburg County. She was a member of Great Pleasant AME Church, Andrews, South Carolina. She retired from Salemtowne Retirement Community.
Pearlie was preceded in death by her husband, Isaac Lee Scott Sr.; and one son, Isaac Lee Scott Jr; three brothers, Waymon Jr., Hayward and Thurmond; and two sisters, Hazel and Sandra.
Pearlie Mae was joined in holy matrimony to Isaac Lee Scott. With this union, they raised ten children, whom she dearly loved unconditionally.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories: three daughters, Inez (Benny) Fair, Ann (Percell) Wilkins, and Zekiyyah; seven sons, Wayne (Nikki) Scott, Rodney (Thomasina) Scott, Victor, Eric, Curtis, and Cory(Alayshia) Scott.
MeMaw leaves to treasure her loving memories: her wonderful, 21 adoring grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren, 32 strong to keep her legacy alive. Mae leaves to hold her loving memories her siblings, three sisters, Bobbie Jean Nesmith (Rand), Gracie Hayward, and Catherine W. Shaw; a sister-in-law, Geneva Wilson, all of Andrews, SC; and two brothers, Charles (Rosa) Wilson and Bernard (Cynthia) Wilson, both of Andrews, SC; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews (Ron). She was a well-loved member of the community in Cherryview where she lived; and an honorary son, Archie Nash over fifty years.
Viewing will be held from 3:00pm until 5:00pm Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at Russell Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30am Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at St. Peter's Church and World Outreach Center. Interment will follow in Gardens of Memory, Walkertown, NC. The family visitation will be held from 11:00am until 11:30am on Wednesday at the Church.
