Obituary

Mrs. Pearlie Mae McLaurin, 72, was born February 16, 1951 to Legett Wilson and Lucilla Wilson in Chesterfield, SC.  She departed this life peacefully at home on October 27, 2023.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, daughter, and friend to many.

Mrs. Pearlie retired from Arbor Acres as their prep cook in 2005. Since then, she enjoyed cooking for and spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her nephews, Paul Wilson and Roosevelt Wilson.

She is survived by her husband, Reginald McLaurin; five daughters, Felisa Wilson, Bertina (Arthur) Scott, Constane Wingate, Mary Moses, and Amanda Caldwell; three sons, James Moses, Faizon Wingate, and Iyarn Wingate; grandchildren, Kiyunta, Andreca, Jerry, Jr., Baby Ray, Shatika, Aaliyah, Bernard, Marcus, Kearea, Bobby, April, Andrea, Tiffany, and Xavia; two sisters, Rosa (Ronnie) Johnson and Carol Ann Wilson; two brothers, Fred (Patricia) Wilson and Levon (Geraldine) Wilson; two very devoted nephews, Levon (Shelketa) Wilson and Devon (Princess) Wilson; a loving Goddaughter, Christy Massey; and a host of other children, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

A viewing will be held from 1:00pm until 5:00pm Thursday, November 2, 2023 at Russell Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30pm Friday, November 3, 2023 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel.  Interment will follow in Parklawn Memorial Park. The family visitation will be held from 1:00pm until 1:30pm on Friday at the Chapel.
