Mrs. Pearl C. Armstrong passed away peacefully on December 4, 2017 at NH Forsyth Medical Center. She was the youngest of six siblings born May 26, 1939 to John Conrad and Georgia Glenn Conrad.

Pearl attended the public schools of Winston Salem Forsyth/County.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 34 years, Warren J. Armstrong; sisters, Margie Rucker and Clara Glenn; brothers, Chamels Conrad and David Conrad; and her step-son, Thomas Armstrong.

Our precious Pearl was a loving giving kind person who would help anyone in time of need. She also loved to serve God. She would light up the room with her infectious smile and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, shopping, eating out, working in the yard and taking care of her home. Pearl was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother. She adored her grandchildren who held a special place in her heart.

She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Deborah (David) Ebron of Winston-Salem, NC and Shannon (John) Presswood of Tobaccoville ,NC; her brother, Roosevelt (Miyuki) Conrad of Highland, CA; four grandchildren, Ryan Ebron (fiancé Amanda Warren) of Whisett, NC,  Sommer, Kalip and Myles Presswood; two step-daughters, Sara Puryear (Ross King) of Winston Salem, and Paulette (Jerry) Stimpson of Durham, NC; step-son, Warren (Veronica) Armstrong, Jr. of Greensboro, NC; twelve step-grandchildren; 10 great-grands;  4 great-great grands;  and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 12noon Monday, December 11, 2017 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Larry Glenn officiating.  Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.  The family visitation will be held from 11:00am until 12noon on Monday at the Chapel.
