Pauline Oliver Cloud, 89, was called home to rest with the Lord on Tuesday, December 27, 2011.

Mrs. Cloud was born in Timberlake, NC as one of eight children to the late John & Agnes Oliver on November 29, 1922.
She was married to the love of her life the late Emmitt S. Cloud for 45 years who preceded her in death. In addition to her husband she was also preceded in death by two sons Emmitt Charles Cloud and Dr. Lee Vernell Cloud.

She was a devoted member of Carver Road Church of Christ and faithfully attended until her health recently declined. Mrs. Cloud retired from the Winston Salem Forsyth County School System and was a graduate of Carver High School.

She is survived by her three daughters, Vanessa P. Cloud of W-S, NC, Velma C. Gorham of Lanham, MD, and Valeria C. Ford of Kernersville NC; two sons-in-law, Walter L. Gorham and Joseph L. Ford; she is also survived by five adoring and loving grandchildren, Ashley, Jasmine and Sierra Gorham of Lanham, MD and Joseph and Jessica Ford of Kernersville NC; two brothers-in-law; four sisters-in-law; and host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2pm Saturday, December 31, 2011 at the Carver Road Church of Christ with Brother Jefferson Caruthers officiating. Interment will follow in Piedmont Memorial Gardens. The family visitation will be held from 1pm until 2pm on Saturday at the Church.
