Mrs. Paulette Lynn Moore transitioned to her heavenly home on Friday, April 9, 2021. She was one of the most beautiful roses in the rose garden of this life, but God took her to give her everlasting love and peace in the rose garden of her heavenly home.
She was born January 20, 1952 in Winston-Salem, NC to the late Benjamin and Glenola Hall. Paulette was a dedicated member of Mount Olive Baptist Church where she served faithfully with the Pastor Aide, Senior Dance Ministry, the Young and Adult Choir, and other various church functions for over 40 years. She worked for 15 years with Family Services and over 30 years with the Winston-Salem Chronicle. Though she wore many hats, her most rewarding work was being a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
Paulette graduated from A.H. Anderson High School, Class of 1970 and was active in many high school activities.
She is survived by her husband, Reggie Lee Moore, Sr.; daughters, Shonta Fleming and Shonette Lewis; brothers, Reginald Hall and Donald (Susan) Hall; sister, Johnsie Pettus-Rivers; granddaughter, Keyla Lewis Fleming; grandson, Sean Lewis; stepdaughters, Regina Moore and Candace Moore; stepsons, Reggie Moore, Jr. and Derrick Moore; devoted niece, Tracy (Vincent) McLean Scocuzza; and a host of other family and friends.
A public viewing will be held from 1:00pm until 6:00pm Friday, April 16, 2021 at Russell Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 12noon Saturday, April 17, 2021 at Mount Olive Baptist Church, 1301 C.E. Gray Dr. W-S, NC with Dr. C.E. Gray officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
