Obituary
On November 22, 2013, God sent his angels to get his child, the loving Patricia Ann Carpenter Taylor, affectionately known as "PAT".
Patricia was born November 19, 1962 to the late JT Taylor and Katie McKay Carpenter. She was a graduate of RJ Reynolds High School Class of 1981 and a member of Union Baptist Church where she served on the Jr. Usher Board.
Patricia leaves to cherish her memories her two sons, Kuan and Elliott (Tosha) Carpenter; her mother, Katie McKay Carpenter; one sister, Sharon Mashack; four brothers, Charles (Antoinette), Demorris (Susan), and Bobby (Kathy) Carpenter, and Billy Taylor; one grandson, Jalen Carpenter; a devoted great uncle, Sears Simon; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11am Monday, December 2, 2013 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 10:30am until 11am on Monday at the Chapel.
