Mother Patricia Ann Green, affectionately known to many as "Pat", departed this life on Friday, August 22, 2025. She was born November 23, 1947, in Winston-Salem, NC to the late Deacon Selmon and Mother Connie Manning Green, and was a graduate from Paisley High School, Class of 1966. Mother Patricia Green was employed at D.D. Bean & Sons Co. and Thomasville Furniture for many years. She later became a loving and devoted caregiver to many.
Mother Patricia Green was loved and admired for her love for the Lord and her gift of singing. She was a life-long member of Macedonia Worship Center where she faithfully served on the Youth Choir, the Young Adult Choir, the C.G. Johnson Celestial Mass Choir, and the S.D. Johnson Celestial Mass Choir. Mother Patricia Green was a member of the ECA Society, The Willing Worker's Club, and the Mother's Board.
Mother Patrica Green was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Reginald Green and Adrian Green.
She leaves to cherish her memories, a devoted son, Patrick Green, Sr.; six grandchildren, Quintin Green, Patrick Green, Jr., Demitri Davis, Julius Smith, Evan Estes, and Kendyll Green all of Winston-Salem; five great-grandchildren, A'laysia, Kai'Lin, Carmyn, Khadir, and Ky'zhae; a loving brother and sister-in-love, Bishop Selmon Tyrone and Lady Shirley Green of Lexington, NC; her devoted caregiver and sister, Doris Harris of Winston-Salem; a loving brother and sister-in-love, Chris and Eleanor Green of Winston-Salem; a devoted and loving nephew, Brandon Lucas; a devoted cousin-brother, Deacon Donald (Odessa) Scales; two devoted and loving cousins, Mother Delois Banner of Houston, TX, and Dr. Michelle Hopper-Gould of Clemmons, NC; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
A celebration of life will be observed at 12noon Friday, September 5, 2025 at Macedonia Worship Center with Bishop S.T. Green eulogist. The family visitation will be held from 11:00am until 12noon on Friday at the Church.
