Ms. Patricia Ann Foulks Burns, 56 of 2624 Claremont Ave. passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at the Wake Forest University/Baptist Medical Center. She was born May 22, 1953 to Nettie Foulks and Nathaniel Carpenter. Ms. Foulks Burns was a long time native of SC where she worked as a textile worker until she came home to reside with her immediate family.
Ms. Foulks Burns is survived by one of her sisters, Ella Foulks of Rural Hall, NC; three children, Chellee Foulks of Winston-Salem, NC, April Allen (Jerry) of Rural Hall, NC, and Alvin Johnson Jr. of Charleston, SC.; three grandchildren, Anthony Quattlebaum Jr., Jerry Allen III, and Chasidy Hood; two great-grandchildren, Tyriek and Anijya Robinson; and a host of nieces nephews and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30am Saturday, February 27, 2010 at Mars Hill Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11am until 11:30am on Saturday at the Church.
