She matriculated in the Winston-Salem Forsyth County Schools. Pat attended Bible Study, Grief Share, and when she was able Sunday school.

During her times of leisure, Pat was an avid fisherman, enjoyed watching Westerns, loved cooking great food, shopping, and hosting family gathering. She took pride in her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren and was involved in all of their activities.
