Patricia Ann Blackwell Faulkner of 650 Granville Place departed this life peacefully on Thursday, February 26, 2009 at her residence.
She retired from Forsyth Memorial Hospital with 25 years of service, she was a graduate of Atkins High School, Lamas Beauty School, and received an Associates Degree from Forsyth Tech.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Alline L. Johnson; husband, Waddy Faulkner; and sister, Carolyn E. Blackwell.
After 67 years on this earth, she leaves behind to cherish her memory, two daughters, Linda D. Blackwell and Keyra M. Faulkner Williams; one son-in-law, Carlos Williams; six grandchildren, Lenard T. Blackwell, Patrick D. Blackwell, Patricia D. Blackwell, Michael E. Blackwell, Phyllis D. Meyers, and Carlin M. Williams; one great-grand, Saniya M. Johnson; and in memory of a special friend, Mr. Willie Woodruff, Sr.; a special friend, Evella Williams, and a host of friends and relatives.
May God cradle her and love her as we did, and may God be with us during our time of grief.
A memorial service will be held at 5:30 pm Tuesday, March 3, 2009 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel. Family visitation will be held from 5 pm until 5:30 pm.
