Ms. Patricia Adams was called to her heavenly home on Friday, April 5, 2019 following a brief illness.  "Granny", as Patricia was affectionately known, was born on January 27, 1949 in Winston-Salem, NC to Frank & Ollie Parker.

She was a graduate of Carver High School and was employed by Baptist, Golden Egg Restaurant, and Tony's Lounge.

She was a member of Brooks Temple United Methodist Church where she served with the Brooks Temple United Methodist Women, the Brooks Temple Chancellor Choir, and was a member of the Kitchen Committee.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, David Parker; sister, Gloria Parker; husband, J.C. Adams; and her granddaughter, Precious.

She leaves to cherish her memories her daughter, Crystal (Twillis) Sturdivant; son, Kenneth (Tangerine) Venable; grandchildren, Toya, Poody, Jasmine, Kenneth, Juan, Tyrone, and Kennedy; great-grandchildren, Bryana, Shaud, Javoni, Malaya, Brandon, Kennedy, TJ, and Cam; sister, Anna Leak; 2 brothers, Benjamin Parker and James (Carolyn) Parker; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends including a very special friend, Tonya Canty.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Friday, April 12, 2019 at Brooks Temple United Methodist Church, 136 Ralph Craver Rd., Lexington, NC 27295. The family visitation will be held from 1:00pm until 2:00pm on Friday at the Church.
