It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Pariss Cornelia Tucker Baines, who died on June 13, 2025, in Winston Salem, NC. She was born on February 23, 1975 in Winston Salem, NC to Debrah Tucker Dalton & Cornelius Tucker.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Mildred G. Tuttle and grandfather, Sam Garris; paternal grandmother, Odessa Tucker; and dearest uncle, Edward "Bill" Garris. Pariss was a loving mother to four children, Kahlia, Christopher, Faith, & Olivia; devoted grandmother to Kha'ri Glenn; Pariss also leaves behind a bonus grandfather, Mac Tuttle; and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was a talented cosmetologist and beautician, and she often developed strong relationships with her clients (family and friends). She was known for her unselfish kindness to others. Pariss was loved, resilient, passionate, and always covered by God. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Saturday, June 28, 2025 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Aleitha Counsil officiating.  The viewing and family visitation will be held from 10:30am until 11:00am on Saturday at the Chapel.
