Obituary
Ora Porter was born on September 2, 1915 in Whitmire, SC to the late Carrie Johnson McCracken Hipps. She departed this world to the loving hands of the Father on December 26, 2008. She is survived by a daughter, Donzella Tyson; granddaughter, Stephanie Tyson (Vivian Joiner); grandsons, Gerry Tyson Sr. (Alicia Gilreath), Herbert Tyson Jr., and five great grandchildren, several great great grandchildren, favorite niece Sarah Hart, several great nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm on Monday, December 29, 2008 at Shiloh Baptist Church with Pastor Paul A. Lowe, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens. Family visitation will be held from 12:30pm until 1:00pm on Monday at the Church.
