Odessa E. King was the second daughter of Luther and Ada Bell Eldridge; born in a family with 8 children, four boys and four girls. She departed this life on Sunday, February 7, 2010.
She was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church.
Preceding her in death were her son, William King; her parents; three sisters, Nellie Kaze, Madlen Scott, and Mae Frances Stanley; three brothers, Thomas, Luther, and Charlie Eldridge.
Left to cherish her memories are one brother, David (Doris) Eldridge; sisters-in-law, Evelyn, Hanna, and Ann Eldridge; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1pm Thursday, February 11, 2010 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 12:30pm until 1pm on Thursday at the funeral home.
