Mr. Norman Perry, III affectionately known as "Big Norm" was born on July 31, 1959 to Norman Perry, Jr. and Rev. Betty Parks  Lowe both of Winston-Salem. He was called home to rest on September 16, 2018.

Norman attended East Forsyth High School and graduated Class of 1977, and after graduating went on to serve 20 years with the Army National Reserve. Norman was employed by the State of NC Division of Transportation as a supervisor and retired after 30 years.

Norman leaves to mourn his wife Helen Hairston Perry; cherished daughters, Normandi Perry of Winston-Salem, NC and Courtni Perry of Maryland; step-daughter, Christian Hairston-Randleman (Bryant) of Durham, NC; devoted grandson, Jordan O'Neal Mack-Perry; other grandchildren, Bryant Randleman, Brent Randleman, and Brett Randleman; two sisters, Cynthia Perry-Smith (David) of Winston-Salem, NC and Constance Green (Scott) of High Point, NC; devoted friend, Steve Perkins; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00pm Friday, September 21, 2018 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Betty Lowe officiating. The family visitation will be held from 2:00pm until 3:00pm on Friday at the Chapel.
