Nina Maria Johnson was born in Winston-Salem, NC, on March 12, 1957. Nina was the first child born to Osa Johnson. Nina accepted Christ at an early age and was a Saint Benedict the Moor Catholic Church member.

Nina is survived by her brother, Bryan Johnson; his wife, Christy; and their daughter, Christina. Nina's laughter, thoughts, and wittiness will truly be missed.

The family was always tight-knit and cared for each other regardless of the circumstances. They loved, cared, and supported each other.

She attended West Forsyth High School and furthered her education at  Winslam Business College with a Business/Fashion Merchandising degree.

Nina worked at Hecht's, The Avenue, Dillard's, and Macy's as the store's merchandise and Operations manager. Nina loved fashion, and at these stores, she excelled and succeeded at the job.

Nina also worked at Lowe's as the Lightning Department Manager. Nina enjoyed every job and respected the need for exceptional customer service.

Memorial services will be held at 11:30am Saturday, November 2, 2024 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel. The family visitation will be held from 11:00am until 11:30 on Saturday at the Chapel.
