Nicole Sharmene Robinson, 45, passed on Monday, November 5, 2018 at Forsyth Medical Center after fighting a courageous battle with breast cancer.
2 Timothy 4:7-8 "I have fought a good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the Righteous judge, will award to me on that day….."
She is survived by her loving parents, her mother, Phyllis Robinson and father, Freddie "Sweet Breeze" Brown; son, Christopher Robinson; special friend, Sianna Brown; aunt, Elizabeth Robinson; uncle, Franklin Robinson of VA; aunts, Mildred (Sherman) McFadden of SC, Betty Ann McFadden of SC, and Doris Reddin of SC; uncles, Roland Lee of PA of Joe Lee of SC; cousins who were like her brother and sister, Reginald and Regina Robinson; nephew, Jamel Robinson; and host of other relatives and friends.
Nicole had a thirst for knowledge and loved to learn. Nicole graduated from Carver High School. She held a degree in Early Childhood Education, a Bachelor of Science degree from Winston-Salem State University and furthered her education was a degree from Forsyth Tech Community College in Information Technology. Nicole was an outstanding student. She worked at Brunson Elementary as a Teacher's Assistant. She had a deep love for staff members and ALL the children she taught. Nicole loved the Lord with her whole heart and served the Lord with her whole being. Nicole had a beautiful voice and she used her voice for praise and worship in the church. Nicole you got your crowns!
Funeral services will be held at 12noon Saturday, November 10, 2018 at St. Paul Apostolic Church, 1401 E. 25 th Street W-S, NC 27105 with Bishop James Funderburk officiating. Interment will follow in Woodland Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 11:00am until 12noon on Saturday at the Church.
The family wishes to extend special thanks to Bishop James and Mother Funderburk and the St. Paul Church Family, Bishop Michael and Mother Pearl Saddler and the St. Phillips Church Family, Alge Willis, Shannon Fulp, Doris Davis, Bridgett Hough-Woods, Dee Foddrell, Regina Robinson, Renea and Linda Funderburk, Debbie Jackson, and all those that assisted in her care at the D.L. Davis Caner Center.
