Obituary

Mrs. Nettie Lou Andrews Williams was born April 23, 1918 to the late Turner Andrews and Mattie Terry Andrews in Johnstown, PA.
She transitioned to eternity on Monday, December 17, 2012 at her home surrounded by her family members. She moved as a young child with her mother to North Carolina after the death of her father.

She was married to Hezekiah G. Williams and was blessed to have 5 beautiful children. She was employed as the maintenance supervisor at the Pepper Building.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband; brothers, Joseph and Clem Plummer Andrews; and sisters, Clarissa and Nora Henderson.

Left to mourn her passing are her daughters, Yolanda Williams of the home, Wanda (Melvin) Middleton of Philadelphia, PA, and Reverend Pamella (George) Mack of Shelby, NC; sons, Hezekiah and Donald Williams of the city; granddaughters, Angela Williams of the home, Michelle (Eric) Cates of Shelby, NC, and Nicole Williams of Wilmington, NC; grandsons, Anthony Williams-US Air Force retired of the city, Corey Walker of Ripon, WI, Gary Williams of the city, and Melvin Middleton of Philadelphia, PA; great-grandsons, Tristan and Kayden Cates of Shelby, NC, Ethan Walker of Ripon, WI, and Malik Williams of the city; great-granddaughter, Skye Williams of the city; a special niece, Mrs. Sandra (James) Lomax of the city; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 12noon Saturday, December 22, 2012 at St. James AME Church with Pastor Steven L. Lyons officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 11:30am until 12noon on Saturday at the Church.
