Nealie Lee Ellerbe, aka "Bo", 78, Honorably Discharged Veteran of the US Armed Forces, was born October 25, 1938 in Latta, SC to Annie Feen Ellerbe.  He departed this earthly life on June 6, 2017. Mr. Ellerbe resided in Brooklyn, NY for 39 years and then moved to Winston-Salem, NC in 1999. He graduated from Latimer High School in 1957 and was a retiree of Consolidated Edison as a Senior Substation Operator with 36 years of service. Mr. Ellerbe was a hardworking man that provided for his family.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Jeanette Jackson Ellerbe.

He leaves behind two daughters, Patricia and Cynthia Ellerbe; four grandsons, Donielle (Tamika) Ellerbe, Antonio Ellerbe, Charles Westbrook, and Clarence Neal Ellerbe; three great-granddaughters, Aaveri, Jayla, and Jordyn; one great-great-granddaughter, Adalyn; one sister, Annie Mae (Joe) Ellerbe Blackwell; one niece, Joanne Ellerbe; two sisters in-law, Careen Williams and Lydia Jane Jackson; one brother-in-law, Toy (Joyce) Jackson; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 12:30pm Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Jeff Lucas officiating.  The family visitation will be held from 12noon until 12:30pm on Tuesday at the Chapel.
