Obituary
Our father, Nathaniel Martin, Jr. resident of 1334 Dublin Court was born April 8, 1934 in W-S, NC to the late Nathaniel Martin, Sr. and Julia Jones Martin. He departed this life on November 20, 2014.
Nathaniel attended Atkins High School, was a former employee of RJ Reynolds Tobacco Company, and retired from Norel. He was a faithful member of Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church where he served on the usher board.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, James W. Martin.
Left to cherish his memories are his children, Tony Martin, Dale (Earlyne) Martin, Kenneth Martin, Barry (Cynthia) Martin, Kaytrina Martin (Antonio) Smith, and Nathel Johnson; 15 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; 10 nieces and nephews; one aunt, Betty Cleveland of New York; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11am Saturday, November 29, 2014 at Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend Dwight Hash officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 10am until 11am on Saturday at the Church.
