Deacon Nathaniel Timothy Clemons, Jr. was born on July 29, 1950 in Franklin County, NC to Nathaniel Clemons, Sr. and Orester Clemons.  He graduated from Wake County, NC School System.

He then began working for the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County School system as a teacher for 30 plus years at the Career Center where he retired. He also worked at Sears Auto Center where he also retired. As a humble Man of God, he served in every church that the Lord had assigned him to. He was currently a member of Community Deliverance Holiness Church where he served faithfully as a deacon.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Nathaniel Clemons, Sr. and Orester Clemons; and his wife of 33 years, Miriam Elaine Clemons.

He leaves to cherish his memory forever one son, Elder Antwan R. Clemons; three brothers, Herbert Clemons, Clarence Clemons (Earnestine), and McArthur Clemons (Lucille); a sister, Laura Conyers; one God-Daughter, Dana Lightner; a special friend, Rick Byrd; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A viewing will be held from 1:00pm until 5:00pm Tuesday, December 26, 2023 at Russell Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at Galilee Missionary Baptist Church with Elder Antwan Clemons officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 10:30am until 11:00am on Wednesday at the Church.
