Mr. Nathaniel Bennett Allen, of 726 W. 26 ^th Street in Winston-Salem, NC, affectionately known as "Buck", was called to rest on Saturday, October 14, 2017. Buck was born August 23, 1929 in Anson County NC to Anderson and Gertrude Allen of Wadesboro, NC.  He was one of 7 children.

He was employed by R. J. Reynolds for 38 years.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Nannie Mae Wilkerson Allen; his parents; 2 sons; 1 daughter; and 5 siblings.

Left to cherish his loving and heartfelt memories are his 2 sons, Charles "Buddie" (Vickey) Adams and Nathaniel Allen; his 2 daughters, Linda (Rayvon) Mitchell and Renee Brown all of the city; 2 sisters, Annette Allen and Mildred Allen of Albemarle, NC; uncle, T. Willie Bennett of Anson County; as well as a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00noon Saturday, October 21, 2017 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Randy Brown officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 11:30am until 12:00noon on Saturday at the Chapel.
