Mrs. Nancy Jacobs, 81, was born March 11, 1930 in Lancaster, SC to Zelma H. Belton and Dollie Belton and departed her life on December 21, 2011 at Wake Forest Baptist Health.

She retired from Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte, NC and was loved by all.

Mrs. Jacobs was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Jacobs; her mother, Zelma Anderson; brother, William J. Belton; and three cousins

Left to cherish her memories are her two daughters, Barbara L. Moyer of the home and Betty B. Hamilton of Charlotte, NC; four grandchildren, Thomas, Anthony, Daryl, and Angela Hamilton all of Charlotte, NC; six great-grandchildren, Shakira and Kendall Shiver of Harrisburg, NC, Le'Myria and Se'Myia Vannoy of Morganton, NC, and Trinity and Krysten Hamilton of Summerville, SC; a sister-in-law, Mary Smoot of Winston-Salem, NC; beloved friends, Annie Ellridge, Carolyn Teasley, and Velma Dunlap all of Winston-Salem, NC; four special co-workers from Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte, NC, Janet Bittinger, Carolyn Sturnes, Junie Nelson and Leonard Smith; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1pm Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Vernon Brown officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 12noon until 1pm on Tuesday at the funeral home.
