Mozelle "Mo" Roach Jones transitioned to her heavenly home on November 18, 2018.

Mozelle was born in Winston-Salem, NC on July 21, 1930 to Willie Mae Banner and George Roach. She attended 14 ^th Street School and Atkins High School. She also attended La'Mae Beauty College.

Mozelle was a member of Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church until moving to Rock Hill, SC.

She was preceded in death by her mother Willie Mae Banner Roach; her father, George M. Roach; and her brothers, James Roach and Willie Roach.

After moving to Rock Hill, SC and making that her home, she became a member of Flint Hill Baptist Church where she worked with the meals on wheels ministry. She was a member of the AP&B Society, Rock Hill, SC. She also attended the Lancaster Vocational School where she trained in nursing.

Although "Mo" was never a biological mother, she was a mother to many; she leaves to cherish her memory two devoted sons, Earl (Yonnie) Glover of Winston-Salem, NC and James "Butch" (Sandra) Tilman of West Haven, CT; a daughter, Phyllis (Richard) Searcy of Winston-Salem, NC; grandchildren, Nioyoka, Ayuana, Tyrese, TyQuan, Sunjalette, Antoinette, Jeanette, Ginger, Hansumm "H2", Ziyon, Little Mhyss, Carla, Christy, and Contrena; two devoted cousins, Lottie Knox Kingston of NY and Betty Roach of Chicago, IL; devoted niece, Diane Jackson; nieces, Saundra Gorham, Henrietta Baldwin of Troy, NC, and Orene Bryant of Detroit, MI; nephew, Jeffrey (Brenda) Tilman of Troy, NC; god children, Latoya Hinton and Derrick Hinton; and a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Dwight Hash officiating.  The family visitation will be held from 10:30am until 11:00am on Wednesday at the Chapel.
