Mr. Morris McFadden, 55, peacefully departed this life on Tuesday, March 17, 2015. He resided at 1369 Argonne Blvd W-S, NC. Morris was born on December 5, 1959 in Winston-Salem, NC to Martha Dozier McFadden and Samuel Grover McFadden.

He was a graduate of Parkland High School in W-S, NC and he dedicated his services to the United States Air Force. Morris was a pleasant and kind-hearted individual. He was soft-spoken and known to his family and friends for his smile.

Preceding his homegoing were his parents; grandparents; sister, Rometta McFadden Watson; and his niece, Nicole McFadden.

Morris' love and treasured memories will live in the hearts of his loved ones forever including his brother, George Samuel McFadden of the home; aunts, Mary M. Coulter of Augusta, GA, Mae Bell Barr, Sallie McFadden, and Estelle McFadden; great-aunt, Angeline H. Williams all of the city; uncle, Clair (Inez) McFadden of Hemingway, SC; devoted nephew, Marcus (Jezzabelle) McFadden of Frankfort, Germany; niece, Kisha (Derrick) Knox of Glen Bernie, MD; brother-in-law, Dewey Watson; and a host of cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor William C. Brown officiating. The family visitation will be held from 12:30pm until 1:00pm on Tuesday at the Chapel.
