Mrs. Minnie Acker Wilson went to be with the Lord on June 8, 2012. She was born June 15, 1934. She was a loving and caring mother, friend, and devoted member of Open Door Apostolic Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Acker and Charlena Copper Acker; and her husband, Bobby Lee Wilson.

Surviving are four children, Helena Smith, Barbara (Kenneth) Williams, Bobby (Beverly) Wilson, and Marcus Wilson; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1pm Saturday, June 16, 2012 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel with Bishop James Hinton officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 12noon until 1pm on Saturday at the funeral home.
